Start your day off with a delicious Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie!
Last year I made an effort to include more smoothies into my diet. I always thought that I wasn't much of a smoothie person.
It wasn't until I started experimenting with different flavor combinations that I discovered that I did like smoothies.
Some of my favorite smoothies from last year include my Strawberry Mango Smoothie and my Pineapple Cactus Smoothie.
This year I wanted to continue experimenting and making smoothies apart of my regular diet.
One of my new favorite smoothies is this ultra creamy Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie.
The base of the smoothie is frozen strawberries, a ripe banana, almond milk and natural peanut butter.
Remember last summer when I went strawberry picking and froze a bunch of strawberries?
I still have plenty of berries left and love using them in my smoothies during the winter months when berries aren't in season.
It might take some extra time and planning during the summer, but when winter comes I am glad that I prepped and froze the ripe, summer fruit.
This Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie is perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack or a post-workout drink.
The smoothie is naturally sweetened from the strawberries and ripe banana.
Natural peanut butters gives the smoothie an extra boost of protein.
