jolly pumpkin pizzeria & brewery
When Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria & Brewery opened up earlier this year, I discovered that they offer a vegan pizza right on the menu—the Bridge Street Vegan.
This pizza is loaded with roasted red pepper hummus, basil pesto, roasted vegetables, and topped with kale chips—so much veggie goodness on this pizza. The pizza is available in two different sizes as well.
Pro tip—Jolly Pumpkin offers $2 off their pizza during happy hour, which is Monday-Friday from 4pm-6pm. Happy hour is a great way to save money!
Harmony Brewing Co
Harmony Brewing Co has two location in Grand Rapids—Harmony Hall and Harmony Eastown. Both locations offer different vegan pizza.
I really love the Begin at the Vegan Again pizza available at Harmony Hall. The pizza base is this cream sweet potato sauce and it's topped with fresh spinach and caramelized onion. topped with crispy shiitake mushroom bacon.
New Holland Brewing The Knickerbocker
The Knickerbocker changes their menu a few times a year, but they always offer a few vegan options. One of the vegan options on the menu is their Vegan Supreme. The pizza is loaded with tofu sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and cashew cheese.
I really love the tofu sausage on the pizza. The flavor of the tofu is very reminiscent of sausage, and the earthiness of the mushrooms pairs perfectly with the sausage. I also really love the cashew cheese on the pizza.
You can also save $2 off your pizza if you dine in during happy hour. The happy hour at The Knickerbocker is Monday-Friday 4pm-6pm.
Brick Road Pizza Co
Brick Road Pizza Co is very vegan-friendly restaurant, offering a wide range of vegan options—including vegan pizza.
One my last visit, I was craving something comforting and heavy on the carbs. The Loaded Potato Pizza definitely satisfied my craving. Pizza is loaded with baked potato, tempeh bacon bits, vegan cheese, and topped with sour cream and scallions. All the flavors of a traditional baked potato, but in pizza form.
Such a unique pizza creation. I can't wait to try their other pizzas. The BBQ Tofu Pizza and Vegan Surprise Pizza both sound amazing.
Mitten Brewing Company
One of my absolute favorite places in Grand Rapids is the Mitten Brewing Company. I probably go there at least twice a month. Their pizza and beer is so good!
My usual go-to pizza is the Thai Cobb pizza. The pizza is loaded with jackfruit in a red curry Thai sauce, broccoli, red onions, shredded carrots, roasted peanuts, cilantro, and vegan cheese.
Lately, I have been loving the Da Meat Hook, a vegan meat filled pizza. If you love vegan plant-based meats, you will love this pizza. It is loaded with vegan pepperoni, ham, sausage, and bacon—and it is all vegan!
I am always recommending the Mitten Brewing Company to visitors. They also do pizza flights! This is a great way to try their different pizza offerings.
It is great to see so many different restaurants off vegan pizza options in Grand Rapids. I do love a good slice of pizza.
